Kayaking in Eberhard Fjord

The Eberhard Fjord is a place full of stories and myths, here are the towns of Puerto Prat and Puerto Consuelo, the north of the city of Puerto Natales.

• Price: clp $115,000 per person (September to April)
• Start Time: At 10:00 a.m., from your accommodation.
• Return Time: Between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., at your accommodation.
• Duration: approximately 5 hours.
• Includes: Transportation service from Puerto Natales to Puerto Prat, all kayak equipment, certified kayak guide and snack.
• Cancellation or rescheduling policy: 72 hours.
• Does not include: Personal and medical expenses.

Recommendations:

– Wear synthetic and warm clothing to be able to put on the waterproof suit, sunglasses, sunscreen and change of clothes.
– Bring a bottle of water.

Excursion

We leave from Puerto Natales and after 30 minutes we arrive at Puerto Prat where we change into the appropriate clothing for kayaking, do an instructive safety talk and begin kayaking.
The tour begins on the beach of Puerto Prat in the direction of Estancia Puerto Consuelo. During navigation we can see many birds such as black-necked swans, coscorobas swans, coots, ducks and flamingos. On the way back we make a stop for a quiet walk and enjoy a wonderful view of Torres del Paine and other surrounding mountains. We continue sailing until we reach Puerto Prat where we visit an old house of local settlers who are waiting for us to share a hot drink and delicious sopaipillas with homemade jams before returning to Puerto Natales.
